About Matt

My career in the automotive industry began in 1983. After two years of new and used car sales and two years of used car management, I began a wholesale car business that we ran for 20 years before focusing strictly on transportation.

In 1997, I saw a need to transport my own cars to and from auction. Thus LMR Trucking was born with one transport truck. As friends and business associates learned that I had the truck, it became harder and harder to haul my own cars! That was 84 trucks ago, and between LMR and SEC, our sister company, we plan to be over 100 trucks by 2019. We have built this business on a basis of friends and associates, many of whom we still haul for today, 18 years later.

As our fleet has grown, so has our customer base. We have many great clients that we have worked with for years. My knowledge of the wholesale car business gives me the insight to understand client needs, and I know how important timely and competitively priced transport means to every car dealer, big or small!

About Joe

Starting my career young as a professional driver, I had logged over a million accident free miles before entering into the profession of car hauling with LMR in June of 2001 as a driver.

In 2006, I was promoted to dispatcher. Over the years, I was fortunate to learn the business, safety and maintenance aspects of our company and in 2009 was promoted to Operations Manager enabling me to oversee the day to day operations.

In January of 2014 I was promoted to my current position of Vice President of our quickly expanding company.

Having started as a driver and handled every aspect of our company, I am able to view our business from both sides of the fence, giving me that extra edge over our competition. I understand and have experienced firsthand what our drivers are likely to experience while hauling and delivering each vehicle, enabling me to accurately plan and communicate shipments.

About Autumn

I was born and raised in Latrobe, PA. For 7 years I was Arnold Palmer’s office manager at Latrobe Country Club. In 2005, I moved from Pennsylvania to Charleston, SC and my tenure with LMR began. I was hired in 2007 as an office assistant. As the company grew, so did my roles and responsibilities. In 2009, I was promoted to office manager. My duties now encompass this role as well as Human Resources. I am well versed in the nuances of payroll, payment processing, and billing. I am highly organized and very customer service oriented.

About Jeff

My career in trucking began when I left the United States Coast Guard in 1998 and took a job with an environmental company dispatching and supervising tankers and dump trailers. I took a hiatus from trucking during the 2000s to sell construction materials but in 2013 I returned to the trucking industry with LMR.

My military service taught me the importance of integrity and reliability and my time spent in sales instructed me to focus on honest communication and to value our customers and to provide them with the best service available - things that are as important to LMR Trucking as they are to me!

About Lisa

I was born in Charleston, SC but grew up in Spartanburg, SC. During my time in Spartanburg I worked as a bank teller while raising my two sons. In 1996, my boys and I moved back to the Charleston area.

I started taking a few courses at Trident Technical College and began working with a home builder in Kiawah Island where I got my start in bookkeeping and accounting. I now have over 18 years’ experience in accounting.

In 2016 I became an office assistant with LMR Trucking and now I’m learning the logistics of the trucking industry. I am excited to watch the LMR continue to grow!

About John

I began my work in the transportation industry nearly four decades ago as a driver. Just over 20 years ago, I began my career in car hauling as a driver in New Jersey. Three years later, I became a load supervisor. After working in this position for three years, I moved into the role of Terminal Manager and relocated to South Carolina where I worked from 2001 to 2009. After a three plus year tenure in Baltimore as a Terminal Manager, I returned to South Carolina and joined the LMR team as a Terminal Manager in 2013 overseeing both our Greer, SC and Brunswick, GA terminals. I have enjoyed being part of the growth of LMR Trucking and look forward to our future growth. With my previous experience, I am able to mentor our drivers to be safe and efficient in their duties and to provide our customers with an extremely high level of quality service.

About Jeff

Growing up as the son of an owner operator, I’ve been in transportation most all of my life. I started my driving career in the mid-1980s delivering bulk chemicals. In 1994, I moved my family to Spartanburg from Western PA. I started delivering BMWs in 1996, mostly in the NJ and NY area. At the end of 2004, I was presented with the opportunity to become a load supervisor at the BMW plant in Greer.
In 2009 we were relocated to Baltimore where I continued as a supervisor helping trainees and reducing damages on the yard. I spent a year and a half as a shop supervisor for Yellow/Roadway in Charlotte. In 2014 I was the LMR part time person in Greer. With the planned growth of LMR, I was hired full time, to manage the Brunswick terminal, but now am back in Greer. Using my prior experience, I can work with our drivers and customers to create the high quality service that they expect and deserve. I look forward to being involved in the future of LMR, an honest and honorable company that is second to none.
