We also monitor the status of pickups and deliveries and report this status to the customer.

Our brokerage division is not set up ONLY to move one or two cars at a time, although this type of order certainly constitutes a meaningful portion of our business. We can also facilitate full loads for ten-car carriers. There is a good amount of skill involved in achieving this, such as combining multiple pickups and drop-offs along a single trucking lane. All of this requires a high degree of knowledge and experience, something everyone at LMR Auto Transport Brokerage possesses.

1. It maximizes carrier efficiency and minimizes driver downtime, thus enabling us to offer better pricing to our customers.
2. It makes the loads more attractive to the carriers which use the equipment. This is important to us because it helps minimize the number of equipment malfunctions and carrier breakdowns that cause delays in the delivery of vehicles.

Additionally, the brokerage division seeks customers that ship bulk orders. Full loads with one pickup and one delivery location—originating and ending in markets that make it easier to originate the carriers next load—enables us to reward a customer with pricing that reflects the value of the time inherently saved in such loads.

serves its customers using a six-step process:

• We quote a rate for each vehicle based upon: a timeframe for pickup and delivery; year, make, and model of vehicle; the most efficient trucking lane for the assignment given weather, roadway, and other conditions; and the most appropriate type(s) of transport truck/trailer for each vehicle to be transported.
• We find carriers that make available the appropriate type of transport along the most efficient lane(s), within the tentative time frame for pickup and delivery;
• We perform due diligence on the identified carriers with respect to their reputation and rating, using our own past experience with the carrier as well as references and ratings provided through a nationally respected rating service.
• We perform due diligence on the selected carrier with respect to the adequacy of their insurance coverage, and obtain evidence of the type and amounts of insurance coverage.
• We contract with the selected carrier and dispatch the assignment to them, setting tentative pickup and delivery dates and providing addresses and contact information for drivers to communicate directly with customer as needed.
• We monitor the carrier’s performance with respect to pickup and delivery, and communicate with the customer regarding any type of problem that may impact the condition or transportation schedule for their vehicle(s).
