The LMR family of companies began operations in January 1998 with the formation of LMR Trucking, Inc. We began humbly: with one truck hauling cars primarily between Florida and South Carolina. Today, LMR Trucking has grown to a fleet of 45 carriers, and we serve more than five hundred customers and transport more than 50,000 vehicles each year.
LMR operates a clean
state-of-the-art fleet.
We run Peterbilt tractors with Cottrell trailers almost exclusively, and the average age of our equipment is less than three years old. Additionally, LMR assigns each associate his own carrier, allowing the driver to develop a degree of personal pride in his truck. That pride translates into a level of care and maintenance exceeding most other carriers on the road today.

We believe that continuity and stability provides more value to our customers. In fact, the first two drivers we hired in 1998 are still on board, and the average tenure of an LMR driver is four years. Low turnover allows our associates to get to know their customer’s business and therefore better meet their needs.

We believe that each automobile we load is someone’s investment, and when our customer sees a clean, well-maintained LMR carrier roll up, he sees pride in workmanship that translates to his precious cargo.
